Denver is a small private school with about 5,000 undergrads, and probably would draw more fans in Bridgeport or Manchester (say 100) than St. Louis(75) or Green Bay (say 50). DU has far more alumni in the East (NY/Boston) than we do in Missouri or Wisconsin. St. Louis is too long a drive ffrom Denver for all but a few zealots. We have a big alumni presence in Chicago, but not many would make the drive to Green Bay, although a few might go down to St. Louis.

So what you're saying is that Denver will bring about the same amount of fans (between 50-100) regardless of where they are placed?

agree. but you could also swap union with western mich for travel considerations... then, if you want to get crazy, a three way shuffle of the 2 seeds bc to bridgeport, wisco to gb and mich to stl (an idea i was against but am warming up and would be interested to see where moy puts them in his initial bracketology)

Yeah, the Union/Western Michigan swap would probably happen. With the two seeds, I tried to limit the number of changes from the straight brackets, but getting BC out east and thus moving Michigan and Wisconsin is also possible. We'll see what it looks like after tonight's games.

On Siouxsports.com it shows Union as #12, 1 comparison ahead of UNO, Dartmouth and Merrimack.

That's because they don't have the Denver-AA game final yet. When DU wins (up 5-1 with 5 left) UAA will no longer be a TUC (RPI .4994) and the standings will change.

I would be almost guaranteed to have one of the teams I bet on in the Frozen 4 this way, but I'm greedy, I want 3 of 4 in the Frozen 4. So far my bets of UND, DU, BC and UNO are looking pretty good, especially DU at 20-1.
