While it's easy to sit here and judge Tiger's adultery harshly, it's also safe to say that none of us have the slightest idea what it's like to be him - or to be like him. While we can travel and go out and fly under the radar as much as we want, he can't. Anywhere he goes, people are going to recognize him - and more to the point, women are going to be aggressive approaching him. This is why I don't think major celebrities / athletes should bother with getting married - for the vast majority of them, the temptation is far too great whenever they are travelling without their spouses.

If you ever schtup a famous married celebrity, save all the evidence so you can sell the story to a tabloid later obviously. :p

Interesting take on the situation-but he could have always said NO! He is not only married but also has two kids. He should have behaved better.

Aww poor Tiger...I might feel sorry for him if he wasnt paid millions of dollars just to SHOW UP at tournaments around the world. Christ he gets paid more to appear than the winner does for prize money. And I am supposed to feel sorry that the consequence for that is that his life is never private? Sorry but no.

He is no better than the politicians who screw every "secretary" in DC...he is a weak human being and he is reaping what he sows.

So we can mark you down as not a fan of Tiger. While he might have the morals of an alley cat or Bill Clinton, however, Tiger is still the best golfer in the world. This is not his smartest move. Apparently his sponsers are standing behind him as of right now.

Presumably there will be the mandatory check-in to a clinic for some convenient substance / psychological malady followed by his re-emegence as a "new man." That's how marketing protects a brand when the proles get antsy.

I am indifferent to him, I think he is not the golfer he used to be and the rest of golf is catching up to him. That has nothing to do with my opinion on this though. I am not going to feel bad for a celebrity because they have no private life. Then dont be a celebrity. If he can't handle the pressure and adulation that comes with the money and prestige of then time to stop playing.

Bill Clinton is a brilliant man (politics aside) but that doesn't change the fact that he is a scumbag because of the way he acts. Same holds true for Tiger.
