WARRIOR HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#29 MARIE-PHILIP POULIN, BOSTON UNIVERSITY
(Sr., F; Beauceville, Que.)
Poulin scored three goals, including the game-winner on Friday, and added an assist en route to a weekend sweep of defending NCAA Champion Clarkson. The senior finished the weekend with a plus-five rating and two blocked shots.
PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#66 AINSLEY MACMILLAN, NORTHEASTERN
(Fr., D; Ilderton, Ont.)
MacMillan recorded a goal and two assists in a weekend split at No. 8/10 Mercyhurst. On Friday the freshman assisted on the game-winning goal in the second period, before scoring her first collegiate goal in the third period.
WHEA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#21 LEXI BENDER, BOSTON COLLEGE
(Jr., F; Snohomish, Wash.)
Bender, who was our Warrior Hockey Player of the Week the week of October 6th, recorded a goal and an asssist in Boston College's 4-0 win over New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon. She is tied for most goals on the team (4) and has five points on the season.

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS
Katie Burt, BC (Fr, G; Lynn, Massachusetts) Recorded her first collegiate shutout at UNH. making a season-high 21 saves for the Eagles.
Victoria Bach, BU (Fr., F; Milton, Ontario) Had two points in a weekend sweep of defending champion No. 7 Clarkson, scoring the game-winning goal on Saturday.
Emily Snodgrass, UConn (Sr., F; Eagan, Minnesota) Scored three goals in UConn's 1-0-1 weekend, including the game-winning goal at Colgate.
Meghann Treacy, Maine (Jr., G, Lake Peekskill, New York) Stopped 70 shots over the weekend for the Black Bears, who fell twice to No. 9 Quinnipiac on the road.
Haley Breedlove, UNH (So., D; Plano Texas) Registered her first career multi-point game with an assist and the game-winning goal to help UNH to a 2-1 win over RPI in the Wildcats home opener.
Chloe Desjardins, NU (Sr., G; Saint-Prosper, Beauce, Quebec) Posted her eight career shutout at Mercyhurst to backstop the Huskies to their first win this season.
Brooke Boquist, PC (Fr., F; Thunder Bay, Ontario) Tallied her first collegiate points against Syracuse with two assists, helping lead the Friars to a 3-3 tie.
Victoria Andreakos, UVM (So., F; Aurora, Ontario) Scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over RIT.
NOTEWORTHY:
SPREAD OFFENSE: Kendall Coyne posted three points (1G, 2A) Friday at Mercyhurst, including a short-handed marker. The junior forward has now scored against 16 of the other 33 NCAA Division I women's hockey teams.
STONEWALL: UNH netminder Vilma Vaattavaara leads the nation with 213 saves, helping the Wildcats to open the season with 28 consecutive successful penalty kills before conceding a power-play goal to BC.
BEATING THE BEST: Boston University knocked off No. 7 Clarkson twice, marking the first time a Hockey East school has beaten a reigning NCAA champion since 2007. Eleven different Terriers collected a point on Saturday, while BU had six goal-scorers over the two-game series.
BUZZER BEATER: UConn fell at the last second to Syracuse as the Orange scored at the 19:59.9 mark on Sunday to push the game into a stalemate.
EARNING HER STARS AND STRIPES: Boston College forward Alex Carpenter added two points in a 4-0 win over UNH on Sunday. Carpenter leads the Eagles in points (9) and is tied for the lead in goals with four, while recorded a point in every game this season.
