I hadn't heard that. It could be that those are the three days available for the teams to play, and they will only be playing on one of the days.

Hmmm, that would be an interesting development....though now that I think of it, I do believe we heard something about that back in the spring...though I could be having a deja vu moment. :o

Could be. The schedule gives the Friday and Saturday as QF dates for the Eagles, and on Sunday says "(if necessary)", so whoever put the guide together seems to think it's best of three. But they could be wrong.

The Hockey East conference media guide (http://hockeyeastonline.com/pdf/1415_WHEA_MediaGuide_Final.pdf - warning: PDF) makes it still sound like single game quarterfinals, but says that they will be played "the weekend of April 29." Ummm... yeah... :o

Buuuuut... An article on MyChamplainValley.com highlighting the Vermont schedule indicates that it will be a best-of-3 format in the conference quarterfinals.
The Hockey East quarterfinals are set for the weekend of February 27 to March 1 at campus sites. New this season the quarterfinals will be a best of three series hosted by the top four seeds.

What an awful week that was for me....guess I better be more logical than emotional....Thursday has NU over UNH...Friday shows BC and Maine.....Saturday it's Maine and BC....
Sunday looks like BU and UVM, with UConn winning Tuesday.....thanks TTT

Zoof has to work early in the AM, so probably a breakfast or dog walk post. It would be far stranger to see a Zoofer post at say, 10pm.
