WARRIOR HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#28 KATE LEARY, BOSTON COLLEGE
(Sr., F; Seabrook, N.H.)
Leary found the back of the net four times against Northeastern and Vermont to help the No. 1 ranked Eagles to remain undefeated in 2014-15. The senior's first goal of the game at Northeastern Saturday afternoon proved to be the eventual game-winner, and she is now tied for first in goals scored against league opponents.
PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#11 BROOKE BOQUIST, PROVIDENCE
(Fr., F; Thunder Bay, Ont.)
Boquist netted her first collegiate goal just 57 seconds into the middle frame at UConn Sunday en route to a 4-4 draw with the Huskies. Her game-tying goal helped Providence to its first points within Hockey East in 2014-15 with a 4-4 draw. The freshman forward finished the weekend with six shots on goal.
WHEA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#2 ASHLEY WILKES, NEW HAMPSHIRE
(So. G; North Pole, Alaska)
Wilkes stopped 21 of the 22 shots she faced, backstopping the Wildcats to their first league win over Vermont Saturday. The sophomore netminder allowed a lone goal, but stayed perfect for the final 50:23 of the contest to record a .955 save percentage and hold off the Catamounts. Hockey East

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS
Kaliya Johnson, BC (Jr., D; Chandler, Arizona) Recorded two assists in her first two games back from injury, finishing a plus-five for the undefeated No. 1 Eagles.
Sarah Lefort, BU (Jr., F; Ormstown, Quebec) Buried a power-play goal and chipped in an assist for the No. 6 Terriers 4-4 tie with Yale.
Shannon Doyle, BU (Sr., D; Baldwin, Ontario) Registered primary helpers on two Terrier power-play goals and blocked three shots for BU against Yale.
Audra Richards, Maine (Jr., F; Maplewood, Minnesota) Scored her team-leading fourth goal and added an assist in two games at Brown.
Jonna Curtis, UNH (So., F; Elk River, Minnesota) Posted career-high three-point outing (1g, 2a) in helping UNH to its first Hockey East win over Vermont, 5-1.
Julia Fedeski, UNH (Fr., D; Algonquin Highlands, Ontario) Notched two points, including the short-handed game-winning tally, in the Wildcats' first league win.
Brooke Simpson, Providence (Sr., F; Boxborough, Massachusetts) Netted a career-high two goals, including the game-tying marker to help Providence capture a point in a 4-4 tie with league rival UConn.
NOTEWORTHY
OUTWIT, OUTPLAY, OUTLAST: Undefeated and top-ranked Boston College is currently riding a seven-game win streak, including the last four against Hockey East foes. Over those seven victories, the Eagles hold a 38-8 scoring advantage.
CATS ON CATS: UNH claimed its first league win over Vermont Saturday, 5-1. Five different goal-scorers led the way for the Wildcats, while Ashley Wilkes stopped all but one Catamount scoring chance.
LESS IS MORE: Boston University used two short-handed goals to skate to a 4-4 tie with Yale, the first time the Terriers have notched multiple short-handed tallies since Feb. 26, 2012.
DOYLE RULES: BU defenseman Shannon Doyle is riding a six-game point streak for the Terriers, notching a goal and six assists over that span.
SIMPSON SAVES THE DAY: Brooke Simpson, a senior forward for Providence, scored a career-high two goals to push the Friars to a 4-4 tie with UConn, securing the first league points for her squad.
