WARRIOR HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#18 REBECCA RUSSO, BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Russo scored three goals this week, including the game-winners in two Terriers wins. The junior potted two goals at Northeastern and broke a third-period tie against New Hampshire to help BU earn a 4-2 victory.
PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#9 TORI SULLIVAN, BOSTON COLLEGE
(Fr., F; West Bloomfield, Mich.)
Sullivan netted her first three collegiate goals in last weekend's sweep of Providence. The freshman tallied twice in Friday night's 8-0 victory in Chestnut Hill before scoring another goal on the road in Saturday's 4-1 win.
WHEA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#29 CHLOE DESJARDINS, NORTHEASTERN
(Sr., G; Saint-Prosper, Beauce, Que.)
Desjardins stopped 86 of the 90 shots she faced over three conference games last week against BU, UNH and Maine. The senior netminder earned her ninth career shutout Thursday in a 28-save effort against New Hampshire. She recorded a .956 save percentage and 1.35 goals against average.

HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS
Meghan Grieves, BC (Jr., F; Cary, North Carolina) Scored the first two goals of her collegiate career in sweep of Providence, including the game-winner on Nov. 1.
Toni Ann Miano, BC (Fr., D; Bronx, New York) Netted her first goal as an Eagle and added two helpers in an 8-0 victory over the Friars, ending with a plus-six rating.
Rebecca Leslie, BU (Fr., F; Ottawa, Ontario) Collected three points (1G, 2A) in two Terrier triumphs, assisting on both game-winning goals. Leads league rookies in points with eight.
Erin O'Neil, BU (Fr., G; Minnetonka, Minnesota) Kicked out 69 shots in two league victories, including a career-high 37 saves in a 3-2 win over Northeastern.
Nicoline Jensen, New Hampshire (Jr., F; Rodovre, Denmark) Registered her first Wildcat goal and assist in a 4-2 loss at Boston University.
Taylor Willard, UVM (Fr., D; Naperville, Illinois) Notched her first career goal and finished plus-three in a 6-0 Catamount victory over Connecticut.
Madison Litchfield, UVM (So., G; Williston, Vermont) Made 19 saves en route to her second shutout of 2014-15 with a 6-0 win against Connecticut.
NOTEWORTHY
CLUB AND COUNTRY: Eight current Hockey East players including defensemen Megan Keller (BC) and Emily Pfalzer (BC) and forwards Alex Carpenter (BC), Kendall Coyne (NU), Amanda Pelkey (UVM), Paige Savage (NU), Haley Skarupa (BC) and Dana Trivigno (BC), are participating in the 2014 Four Nations Cup with the U.S. Women's National Team, Nov. 4-8 in Kamloops, British Columbia.
FIVE IN NINE: After a three-game week, all against conference opponents, Northeastern finished a stretch of five games in nine days with a 1-0 loss to Maine in the regular-season home opener Sunday.
MAINE STREAM: Maine defeated Northeastern, 1-0, Sunday at Matthews arena, marking the first Black Bear victory in the last 14 meetings with the Huskies.
FRESH CATS: UNH's Nicoline Jensen (1G, 1A), Amy Schlagel (1G) and Carlee Toews (1A) notched the first points of their Wildcat careers this weekend.
HOME COOKING: With a 3-2 victory Tuesday night, Boston University moves to 6-1-3 all-time in home opening games since joining Hockey East.
