I appears to me that for some predictors this is a "who do you want to win" thread. I thought you were part of that club....Or at least you used to be. :D

We should start a threat where all games are picked based on who you want to win, and then we give the poster with the worst record some sort of conciliatory award for having the most upsetting season on the forum.

#7 BRITTANY ESPOSITO, NORTHEASTERN

Esposito racked up five goals and one assist over the weekend as the Huskies knocked off UNH by scores of 5-4 and 4-2. Esposito had two goals and an assist in Saturday's 5-4 win, and then notched a natural hat trick on Sunday at the Whittemore Center.

WARRIOR HOCKEY CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#21 AUDRA RICHARDS, MAINE
(Sophomore Forward; Maplewood, Minn.)
Richards notched a hat trick in Saturday's win over the UConn Huskies and totaled four points on the weekend with three goals and an assist as Maine swept UConn.

PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#14 ANDIE ANASTOS, BOSTON COLLEGE
(Freshman Forward; Farmington Hills, Mich.)
Anastos went 3-2-5 in two victories over BU on the weekend. In the first game she scored two goals, including both the GTG and the GWG (with five seconds left). In Game #2, she set up the GWG (a SHG by Haley Skarupa) and was 1-2-3 for the game.

WHEA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#34 ROXANNE DOUVILLE, VERMONT
(Senior Goaltender; Beloeil, Que.)
Stopped 62 of the 64 shots she faced as the Catamounts swept Providence in a weekend series. She made 40 saves on Friday, the fourth time this season she had faced 40 or more shots.

MAINE BLACK BEARS
Sweep of UConn, capping a 4-3 month, moved Maine from bottom of league — where they were a week ago — to #5 seed for the playoffs.


HOCKEY EAST WEEKLY TOP PERFORMERS

Corinne Boyles, BC (Sr., G, Wheaton, Ill.) – Stopped 50 of 53 shots (.943 save percentage) in two games against BU over the weekend, recording the victory in both to improve to 21-5-2 on the season.

Louise Warren, BU (Sr., F, Pembroke, Ont.) – Scored a goal and added an assist on Saturday against Boston College.

Kerrin Sperry, BU (Sr., G, North Reading, Mass.) – Made a season-high 47 saves on Saturday against Boston College. It is a regular-season record for Sperry.She

Michela Cava, UConn (So., F, Thunder Bay, Ont.) – Scored a goal in both of UConn's games against Maine.

Brooklyn Langlois, Maine (So., D, Steinbach, Man.) – Notched a goal and an assist to help Maine sweep UConn.

Meghann Treacy, Maine (Jr., G, Lake Peekskill, N.Y.) – Only allowed three goals in back-to-back games against UConn making a total of 58 saves on the weekend.

Nicole Gifford, UNH (Sr., F, Ennismore, Ont.) – Posted a three-assist weekend in a pair of games against Northeastern.

Jessica Hitchcock, UNH (Sr., F, LaSalle, Ont.) – Recorded two goals and an assist in two games against Northeastern.

Claire Santostefano, NU (Sr., F, Wilmette, Ill.) – Had two assists in Saturday's 5-4 win against UNH and tallied another assist in Sunday's 4-2 win.

Lexi Slattery, PC (So., D, Lino Lakes, Minn.) – Scored her first goal of the season on Friday night at Vermont.

Amanda Pelkey, UVM (Jr., F, Montpelier, Vt.) – Picked up two goals and two assists over the weekend leading Vermont to a weekend sweep against Providence.
