Things you've learned as a parent...

I know some people say enjoy the infant stage because they grow up fast. While true ("the days are long and the years are short"), don't sweat it if you don't. We simply survived the infant stage. The toddler and early school years are way better, in my opinion, because you can actually talk to them and see the cogs turning.
You better delete all of that before Slap Shot reads it.
My daughter just started kindergarten and she loves school so far. My son starts preschool next week and I think he’s going to love it too. I’d say another year and I’ll be in young kid mana heaven, but it’s fairly close now.

Lucky you. My kids’ cogs never did turn much.
