My wife wanted to give it a yank, and our daughter let her. After that didn’t work, she wanted to do the dental floss loop around the tooth and yanked straight up. Still nothing. So she asked to let me have a try, and my try did work. Then we had the waterworks. Parenting lesson: Don’t try.

Unless you’re mom, then it’s ok to try. Even though the kid ASKED dad to try, it’s always going to be his fault, even if said try works. Almost like they learn to set us up at a very young age
