After dismissing Pacan we simply cannot afford to lose Stacey. This better not be bad...A good thing for the cats is that they don't have their next game until the 23rd. Hopefully he can heal by then.

Maybe its time that Sneddon tells Stacey to stop blocking shots. How many games has he missed in the last few years because
of injuries from shots? Sure I know he wont stop but we need Staceys scoring more than his shorthanded blocks right now.

INCH has the Cat's recruiting class as the 11th in their rankings of top incoming classes. Brickley was the 11th ranked forward and Vazzano was the 6th ranked goalie.

What a teaser, open with a series against DU followed by a week off...:mad:

JMO side note : Not a big fan of the new site.

Ten Things This Denver fan enjoyed about his trip to UVM last weekend, besides the on-ice results (in no particular order):

1. Hong’s Chinese Dumpling Cart on Church Street. Awesome pregame snack.
2. Red Square Bar after the game. Church Street is great.
3. Cruise on Lake Champlain. Interesting narration of U.S. Naval battle history.
4. Gutterson Field House. The place has a cozy, spartan charm with good sightlines.
5. Gutterson Student Section – especially the dancing “Go, Cats, Go!” chant. Great sellout crowds.
6. Dollar Hot Dog Night at Gutterson. Good stuff.
7. UVM Pep Band. Outstanding drumming, brought it all weekend.
8. League press releases copied for visiting fans. Never seen that before.
9. The fall drive up from Boston was spectacular. Vermont is gorgeous.
10. Friendly UVM fans.

Wow, looking at the pics on the home page, Bemidji's new facility looks great! Don't know how many it seats, but why can't UVM have something like that with seating for about 9,000? It's been something talked about for as long as I can remember. If we keep waiting for the economy to bounce back, or the stars to align in some other fashion, it'll never get done. It needs to be a priority!

BTW, I love the Gut, but for the program's sake, it's time to move on.

While Its looked nice and new I thought it looked too cookie cutter which seems to be the norm latley as schools want multipurpose sites and the ceiling looked really high(kinda like RPI) which will not make it as loud even full. On a good side I would love to see us get some cheerleaders like they had.

Very happy to hear that Stacey is not out for longer, he was awesome in that first Denver game - should have had four goals were it not for the zebra's messing up

We definitely need that new arena, but don't hold your breath, the liberals who control our tax proceeds would rather we spend the money on ganja distribution, BT, and the moron, I mean Moran plant.

A big game coming up next week, need to get it done in conference this year.

Early reports of Thomas's demise might have been premature 1 goal in 2 games, curious to see how much time he continues to get.

Glad to see Vik get #1 a couple of days ago, Sharp had 13 shots in the game what a puck hog.

Anything ever leak out on what Pacan did to get released? I assume McCarthy and Stalberg were part of the same incident???

I haven't heard anything and I really don't expect too. The school and team were pretty hush hush on Milo last year and in the end all we ended up with was rumors.

Hate to say the third game into the season is a must win, but I will. Cats need to get off to a good start and this is a game they should win. Another season of .500 hockey will not get them in the big dance. They need to show up, play like they're capable of, and get the job done. Them the facts.

I think it was pretty clear why they got rid of Milo and there was a lot of info out there at the time. There has been nothing on Pacan.
