The States : red states in a race to the bottom

Yeah but you also turn them into martyrs because its not like any of them will actually spend any real time locked up...I mean they are WHITE!!

And? Better to actually enforce the laws and create a martyr than to just let these idiots run free.

Arrest them and expel them. If voters send them back, that’s their choice.

Too late. We already just let them all go. Our most infamous criminal has been reelected commander in chief. His sole goal is to destroy the United States of America. I have no doubts he will succeed.

I dont disagree...I am just saying history shows it doesnt fix the problem just makes it worse. The second Garland twiddled his thumbs on Trump the die was cast. The Minnesota Courts will stop this thankfully but there is no going back now. Once the rules no longer can be enforced (or those who could enforce them choose not too) the entire system begins to collapse. Some places will handle it (i.e. strong Blue States) but the rest will collapse under the weight of people pushing it to its breaking point.

The entire GOP platform now is "If you cant win, cheat" and 49% of the country is ok with that. That is not sustainable. If the DFL had these people expelled it would help in the short term but I would bet decent money the MNGOP takes the House in 2 years and a lot of people from a lot of dead-end areas with a lot of guns start acting out. Then they expel every undesirable they have and Minnesota falls. Its just that easy. (ask Wisconsin how quickly they fell apart when Walker took over)

This whole country is sitting on 1 ton of gunpowder and one side is lighting matches...at this point its not if but when the whole thing falls apart. The California Wildfires on top of open mutiny in other states might just blow the whole thing apart.

At some point the Democrats, both centrist and leftist, are going to have to realize that the norms and standards that once governed this country are long gone and they're going to have to give their balls a tug and get in the muck and fight.

Again I don't disagree...I just think we are too late. The only way out now is if something really bad to happen. And it can't be a terrorist attack either. We need a collapse and we need to rebuild.

Right now we are a 250 year old home that has been falling apart for decades. We keep trying to patch and hold it together with duct tape but the roof leaks everywhere, the walls are crumbling and the electrical doesnt work. The foundation is solid but time to knock the rest down and build something stronger.

This is 100% performance theater, and I can't believe you guys and the press are even talking about it.

There is no power grab going on. No one has the ability to grab power.

Whatever the House is doing now is basically the same as if they were just jerking off in public.

To become law, a bill has to pass both houses of the legislature in Minnesota, and be basically identical coming out of both houses. Then the Governor has to sign it.

The Senate isn't going to pass a bill that looks like anything coming out of the House, and I'm pretty sure Walz isn't going to sign a bill that was passed by just the House Republicans while the House Democrats hang out at the Historical Society.

Three arrested for arson for palisades fire, 14 arrested total

and before anyone comes at me, no it’s not proven arson yet but they must have something to make arrests

i will not be surprised if this was maga scum giving Mikey his opening to raise debt ceiling- as that’s what he’s threatening as condition to aid
