I'm feeling very happy for all you diehards.
Nothing like a great feel good story... and there seems to be a fair share of that going around Hockey East these last few weeks.
New coach, new style, hard working team, fan support, new hope... its all good (as long as you don't be messin' with the Eagles). ;):p

By my quick check, the six goal game on Sat was more goals than in any game last year. The 5 goals on Fri. matched last year's high.

When I watched it again it was so obvious how staged the whole piece was at the time. Army knew where the camera was and played to it the entire time.
There is a fan in the shot and it is turned off at the time. In a college hockey locker room between periods? That thing normally would have been cranked. I'm so glad that Coach Leaman is here. The athletic department has even sent out an email promoting attendance at the hockey games this weekend! Who woulda thunk it...
 
Friday's game against UMD is on Cox Sports. Not every day the defending national champs come to Schneider...hoping for a great turnout both nights.

Don't you dare scare away walk up sales for your ratings gain!!!! ;)

It's going to be a great weekend of hockey at Schneider! The team style of play has been exciting to watch in the early going and I know that Coach Leaman will have them hustling their skates off against UMD.

Mike NORMALLY the defending national champs come from Hockeyeast so we get to play them twice a year and sometimes face them in the HE playoffs but your point is well taken. :) No excuse for fans not attend at least one game this weekend.

Has anyone heard whether or not Rooney or Adams are healthy enough to see game action this weekend? Also Shane Luke has had 2 weeks of practice and since becoming approved by the ncaa. From all i've read about him, he's a big goal scorer. Where does he fit in the mix?

PCs Harvey named Player of the Week and PC Team of the week in Hockey East last week.........also a great letter to the student body about their choice of words during the BU game, good to see the AD and Coach attempting to fix the wrongs as they happen......go Friars

We played well 5 on 5 but we have to stay out of the box late in the periods and game.....we are not as deep as UMD and it showed at the end.....good learning experience as will tomorrows game, sets us up for Maine and the rest of Hockey East.......thought one of the goals was a fluke but it counts as much as the others.....time to regroup and go after them Saturday.......all in all a respectable loss, we gave away nothing

Pretty good game tonight....PC played about ten minutes of good hockey at the end of the first period. UMD dominated pretty much as PC had issues carrying the puck into the zone.

All in All...pretty good performance but UMD is a solid squad and much better then BU.

Here was a quote from Leaman in the Projo

"For whatever reason, our compete factor wasn't there tonight, and I'm just disappointed,'' he said. "(Minnesota-Duluth) dominated a lot of the compete points of the game. They won the faceoffs. They won a lot of the battles along the wall and they obviously won the special teams.'' he said.

Looks like your guy's rebirth is having is temporary abortion. Hopefully UMD can complete the abortion tomorrow. :D
