So they showed the tOSU athletic director but not McIntosh. Did Mac skip the frozen four? Inexcusable if he did.

Portrykus really showed how dumb he is with his own Twitter feed comments. Anyone with minimal Wisconsin knowledge would understand more than he has. Embarrassing for a WI reporter to say as much that goes out of his way to say how much he doesnt like MKE.

Brutal. Find a different profession.
 
Great game. The young ladies peaked when it counted! (I know, so cliche) It was a true team effort the past couple of weeks.

Now, looking at the Frozen 4 and the WWE Championship Title Belt; a lot of reloads, rebuilds, restocks, and restores.
Maybe we can get on the list soon.

Congrats to the Lady Badgers on #7. Feels good to beat OSU when their coach said in the game against Minnesota, they would rather play Wisconsin. Oops.

Here is the link. He just kinda publicly put himself on his own petard. Popped the confetti on them winning then stated he has no clue about the program.

Maybe it isnt that big of a deal to most, but to me, for a reporter that got the football hire so wrong and goes out of his way to state how much he doesnt like MKE, to then publicly state his congrats with also stating he has no contact/idea about the program is kinda right out.

I saw the post and didn't have the same takeaway, but I admittedly didn't think about it much. I am not a fan of his, but any press is good press in this case.

And of course the commenters were "why isn't he taking over the men's team" which would be a huge mistake in my opinion, as we have discussed here multiple times.

What riled me was his own comments in the thread. Admittedly, Im not a fan of his. He covers Wisconsin exclusively for the Journal-Sentinel, but has some deal carved out where he lives in Madison area. Which is all well and good...but then he consistently torches Milwaukee any time he goes on a sports talk show.

Im super happy for the women, just wish some of these reporters would actually follow the teams like TM so theu can write great stories, not just pop confetti when its convenient.

Well Todd M was put on the BB beat instead of hockey for most of 2023, so we had zero coverage from WSJ / madison.com for all of 2023 until the women's frozen four (when the new BB beat writer came on and Todd was released from BB jail). I gave them heat for that and rightfully so. MJS has had someone covering hockey most of the year (edit Mark Stewart: https://twitter.com/MarkStewartMJS) , so good on them for that, regardless of my feelings for Jeff P. And yes he should know more about the Lady Hockey team and their success.

Can we get the playoffs over so we can get a new coach and have, hopefully, something good to talk about for the Men's side?

IDK, I didn't see anything egregious in his comments. His original post was quite complementary.
 
Does the radio silence potentially mean you are in fact interested in current coaches in the tournament?
