Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

There are going to be a lot of ****ed off people at Soldier Field if they're getting the same picture there as I'm getting here on the south side...

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

so why do we always have guys grabbing the hamstring? more than any other team

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

and not good having to use one of our substitutions already.

Ouch! Now Johnson is out with a hamstring injury! you raise a great question for the post-tournament analysis.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

US would benefit from zero added time, but the F. Johnson injury is good for a couple or three by itself.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

i'll take it

cameron on a yellow would def be my next sub

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

I'd have to give Belgium the edge in the first half, though there weren't a lot of chances really going either way. Fellaini sure complains a lot.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

I'm trying to convince myself that today's game will be just like the Ghana game in that we will be outplayed yet find a way to hold them off while we score one more than they do somehow....

Zusi has sucked. Bradley has had a couple great passes.

I'll take 0-0 when I peg the prime opportunities at 3-1 Belgium.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

So if we sub off Cameron, do we go for another defender (Brooks?) or do we keep Yedlin back and go for a more offensive player? Or do we punt and bring in Beckerman?
