They corrected it later to 2 on Western's website.

Ah, ok. I saw one on their tweet at lunch.

I didn't watch Sports Reporters often, but Saunders was without a doubt the best one on there. It's going to take a pretty huge nosedive now.

College football Saturday's won't be the same.

I enjoyed watching his show from time to time. It was usually better discussions than the vast majority of shows on TV. At least we still have Charlie Rose.

RIP.

The SNL parodies with Dana Carvey as McLaughlin are classics. NBC has them all in the online archives - worth the watch.

This also reminded me of Martin Short always playing a scummy lawyer getting peppered by an investigative reporter. "Who said that? I didn't say that, you said that!"

I remember thinking when I was watching those, "only about 300 people are going to get the joke." I really appreciated that they did those skits.

Hard to read, because as I read I found myself rooting more and more for Thiel.

I read Gawker a lot. When it talked about politics it was great. When it talked about celebs it was inane. Nick is a textbook case of someone so far up his own hiney that he is impossible to sympathize with. No surprise he loved Lifehacker the best -- it's insufferable.

Moral of the story: stick to cars and politics. (I had no idea Gizmodo was the largest of the properties.)

Also, if he really did fail to separate the company and his personal liability he should sue his lawyer and his financial advisor for every penny he personally owes. That is ridiculous.
