Former AWA, NWA, WWF, & ECW wrestler Tommy Rogers dead at 54. He was best known as one half of the 80s tag team The Fantastics (with Bobby Fulton), who had a long feud with The Midnight Express & Jim Cornette.

Tariq Aziz

Tariq Aziz, known as the face of Saddam Hussein's regime on the world stage for many years, has died in an Iraqi prison, officials say.

Aziz, 79, served as foreign minister and deputy prime minister and was a close adviser to the former leader.

He was sentenced to death by the Iraqi Supreme Court in 2010 for the persecution of religious parties under Saddam's rule but was never executed.

I pride myself on having a pretty deep understanding of current events and foreign affairs and I had no idea this man was a Christian. Certainly not unheard of in the political circles in Muslim or Arab dominated countries or governments, but not all that common.

Yep, that's interesting. Apparently about 3% of Iraqis are Christian.

I'm surprised it's as low as 3% to be honest and suspect the real amount is under represented due to many not wanting to be recognized as such. There were more than a few churches when I was in Bahrain.
