Hopefully the child is young enough at 4 to not be traumatized for the rest of their life from this - even with the parents likely going to prison for several decades. Praying there is a stable family support system for the child.

I am not a supporter of capital punishment but I would make exceptions for people like this. They're not really human anyway, more like a fungus on your toenail. There really is no reason to keep them alive other than to torture them, which might be better than killing them now that I think about it.

It is far from just the Crazy Eights (I'm totally stealing that). But that is hilarious and assuages the obnoxious "I'm a social liberal and a fiscal conservative" convo I had to overhear between two pilots for the first half of my meal at Butcher & the Boar.
