Hopefully it's because the baseball gods were preoccupied with Beckett's . . . what's the phrase I'm looking for . . . "special evening" so far.

Couldn't ask for anything better today. :)

In my more optimistic moments, I hoped that they might get back to .500 before the end of April, but I was figuring mid-May would be more like it. They'll have a chance in a couple days . . .

This is going to sound stupid but I'm going to ask it anyways - do you think Crawford got off to such a horrific start because he played half of his games in a dome and he wasn't used to the cold weather?

What a trainwreck. That was NOT a balk. Still, if AGonz made that easy play, the Sox wouldn't be in this mess.
