Watching Tor-Mtl on channelsurfing.net... anyone else notice the airline commercials advertising low rates from Winnipeg to Phoenix? Canadians are funny.

Cablevision on Long Island is offering free previews of all games on NHL Center Ice from 10/1 thru 10/24 (Not HD). I do get NHL Network and Versus in HD as well as MSG and MSG+ (Islanders, Rangers, Devils) in HD.

Habs win in OT with 13 seconds left - Josh Gorges with the winner

Avs/Sharks coming up on Versus

I just had an evil laugh after reading this.

Also: Everyone on the Avalanche is wearing a #19 Sakic jersey tonight. They have their own nameplate underneath the 19 on the back. ***?

BTW: Are those the Flames jerseys now, or are they just doing a throwback?

Alternate jersey, I think. It's for their 30th season in Calgary.

And the Avalanche just wore those Sakic jerseys for the number retiring ceremony and warmups. I guess I had to figure that no one would be that retarded.

Jesus...are they enough freaking 19's on the boards and on the ice for Joe Sakic?

why didnt they just keep wearing those jerseys and really drive the point home?

I don't think the Flames should be allowed to wear those uniforms unless Iginla grows a face-eating Lanny MacDonald mustache.

The Sharks have been atrocious in their own zone tonight. Also, Heatley has been invisible.

Sharks defense is clearly unprepared for how Colorado was going to play tonight. The kid Matt Duchene is playing like a maniac tonight.

Uni-Watch (a feature on ESPN that is actually pretty good) recently had a run down of what to expect this season for NHL jerseys. It also shows a few new goalie helmet paint jobs.
