It was a good game, but the overwhelming majority of USA shots were from the perimeter.

Seth Jones - be interesting to see how his stock falls after this performance to date. His defensive prowess has been awful. Given what was expected coupled with what he has delivered, he has been brutal

Rocco & Johnny - did thee guys get off the plane? Still waiting for these guys to show up.

Gibson - he's been great. USA should have been down 4 or 5 to 0 after the 1st period against Canada

Let's go guys. The path to the promise land will be difficult, but it is still achievable

Oops. Two goals and an assist for Gaudreau today. If I'm reading the phone app correctly, Grimaldi was dropped to the 4th line.

@TSNBobMcKenzie: Rocco Grimaldi (UND/FLA) in Team USA doghouse big time. Hasn't played a shift today. Sounds as if it's performance/attitude related.

LOL...you win. Glad I'm working at home today. Canada-Russia on right now...first action I've seen all tournament. These games are always the best.

Anyone have link to the live nhl.com feed for can-rus, it worked the other day for usa -can, but can't seem to find it this AM.

Jones stock will take a drop...I never believed in the possible #1 pick in the upcoming NHL Draft...figure(imo)around 6th thru 10th pick,but after watching him to date he is a huge dissapointment for the US....plus the DUMB penaltys this squad continues to tack up during key situations of the games....as far as Jones stock..time will tell,he'll most likely be a top 15 pick but his stock too a big hit.

Canada was absolutely dominating in their victory over Russia, they certainly played to their full potential and will be extremely hard to beat but with good goaltending and rock solid defense, it can be done.

Should the US defeat the Czech Republic do they face Canada or Sweden?

The 5 and game misconduct on Gosthisbehere was super weak. The Slovakian player took 3 strides and a pivot after he got hit before he took a ridiculous dive. Nobody who gets hit in the nuts takes that long to drop. I'm also pretty sure that was the same clown who acted dead during the Canada game.
