Looking forward to getting on the plane Thursday to be there this weekend. Just bought the game tix...
Keep rolling boys...keep playing at both ends the way you have and good things will happen!

David Jacobson wins Sid Watson award as D-III player of the year.

Jacobson and Perry named 1st team All American. Fiala and Baptista named to the 2nd team.

Congratulations to David. . Have to say I'm a bit proud.:) Also congrats to Joe, Mason & Marian.. well deserved.

I would also like to see if I am the only one that have noticed throughout the season that our writer for USCHO is always the very last at getting something if anything wrote up on our SNC boys..and all the NCHA. and here we go yet again into a huge weekend and SNC is the only team with no write up... very disappointing! Hopefully we have someone new taking care of us next season.

No you are not the only to notice, I've noticed tht too. I just didn't know how to broach the subject. But since you have, YES I noticed. :)

I think the previous writer perhaps is devoted to a different website now; not sure but thought I would mention it................leaving office soon to go home and fire up the smart TV :)

It was up shortly after I said it wasn't. Not a very good pregame. Just regurgitated stats. The previews of all teams on the "other" site were phenomenal.

Congrats SNC! We battled you guys tough, but you proved why you have the #1 ranking and a trophy case full of hardware back in Wisconsin. Hopefully, we will meet again soon.

Thank you! Great job by Coach and his staff, all of the players and staff. What an amazing season and run.

Congratulations SNC on your fourth national championship! You guys were the best team in Maine, and it was a privilege for this fan to watch you guys play. Hopefully it's not too long before the Blue Knights meet the Green Knights again :)

Very impressive effort in the final 4 by St. Norbert. I was just curious what Junior A leagues the St. Norbert players came from and here is the breakdown:
BCHL 5
OJHL 2
NAHL 11
AJHL 2
Sweden 1
USHL 4

I surprised how few players came from the OJHL since there are so many programs throughout the province. But you just don't see many D3 teams in the east bring in players from the BCHL and the USHL like St. Norbert does. I am very impressed by the recruiting efforts of Coach Coghlin and wonder how he gets it done every year. Green Bay must be a place where guys want to go to play hockey. I assume Adrien tries to recruit the same way. Very impressed by the level of play out west.

Coghlin is from Summerland, BC and still has extensive contacts in the region. And, success certainly helps breed success at this point.
