Is Brothers not a good bar any more? 10-15 years ago I use to like that bar a lot. From 1995-2005 I went to madison at least one weekend a year. As we got older the crowded college bars are never as fun as they use to be, but that is part of getting old.

Brothers is run down, and they never have enough bartenders (though some of the females are pretty nice to look at), but you can't beat $2.50/pitcher. I'll be there in 2 hrs!!

Big weekend of hockey and some big points to be earned. We need atleast 2 points this weekend.
Wish I could be in mad-town...I've had some good times there. :(

In today's article, it sounds like the bar owners found out that the UW was planning on buying the land and building, so they bought it instead. Maybe they were hedging their bets and hoping to make the UW to pay a higher price. If so, they deserve to get hammered.

I am married with children I don't have a life any more....... If it makes you feel better they hav enever done that well when I have been there either.

Nice win. What is Madison going to be like after the Huskies finish the sweep tomorrow? I'll be happy, of course, but I have a feeling the after game atmosphere at the bar won't reflect a typical Madison experience.

Just posted this in the score thread but it fits here too.....THAT was a well played 3rd period. Sure they were up by 3 but they played much better in that period compared to the 2nd. Almost all of Wisco's shots were from the perimeter and they even created a few scoring chances. What a response from the Huskies after last Saturday's game.

Badgers looked out of sorts for much of the 1st period. They controlled play in the 2nd but the Huskies took advantage and buried their chances. Perfectly played 3rd period by the Huskies with a 3 goal lead. Dunn was outstanding tonight. The only goal he let in he really didn't have a chance on. He made a few great saves and it's good to see him picking up his game again.

Most people in the bars could care less about the score of the game. It will be fun for you no matter what.
