Oh ok I knew we were with NoDak, I thought the groupings of 4 were a set deal too.

He has a great track record. He obviously did great things with your program. Nice to see President Potter is taking SCSU in the right direction. It's great to have Gasparini on board.

his track record goes a lot deeper than what he did in North Dakota...

What he did with the USHL was incredible. Should expect the same for SCSU. Should see some great things comming out of the SCSU athletic dept soon.

Imagine the hockey team and coaches are excited but maybe somewhat apprehensive knowing that Gino Gasparini will be an intregal part of the management and oversight of the athletic dept.

I am very sure the coaches are excited. SCSU might actually market their athletic events and teams in the near future. I'm sure the multiple free loaders in the AD office with the title of "assistant" are getting rather nervous. Don't get me wrong, there is a handful of very good people in that department, but there is definitely some excess baggage that should be disposed of in the next 6 months.

Maybe Kurtz saw this coming and knew his head was on chopping block and decided to fall on his sword (That's not too violent in this era of political civility is it?).

I don't mean to alarm anyone...but these guys sure are getting hot at the right time of the season...

Figures that we couldn't depend on fUMD to get that extra point against CC tonight.

That's what I get for cheering for them for a weekend. God, its like when I wanted the Packers to beat the Bears two years ago. :(

What? Market athletics? Don't you just have to put on the games and people will come? That's the current marketing. It wasn't too long ago when they didn't even get athletic schedules out to businesses. SCSU Athletic department is pretty pathetic. How many assistants do they need? Let's hope they dump the dead weight.

SCSU's idea of dumping the "dead weight" is getting rid of much needs athletic trainers.
