So then I assume they will be all for everyone being able to adopt yes? I mean if they are gonna have every woman be forced to term and then put the kid up for adoption surely they would be excited if more couples wanted kids right? Even say DA GAYZ!!!!!?!?!?!?!

Oh wait...

Adopting should then be the same for humans as it is a dog or cat: spay or neuter before adoption.

In a better world, the overturn of Roe would lead to such a backlash at the ballot box that it would mean the end of the right controlling the legislative and executive branches for at least 20 years. Unfortunately, I don't think we live in that world anymore.

When you look at the data in states like Mississippi and Texas, a higher percentage of R's are getting abortions than Ds. So they are taking away a right from people in their own freaking party who use it. Only in the very liberal states is where D's significantly out abortion than R's do.

Assuming that the data is correct. But there's no reason to think it's not- essentially, being a conservative does not mean you don't get abortions- it just means you vote against things you already do.

This is about power over women than a party action thing. Which is hardly surprising.

This data is somewhat misleading because it comes from 1996. I mean ARK shows 53.7% for Democrat and that was Clinton. I'm willing to bet they've gone straight R in every presidential election since.

Secondly even with 25 y.o. data most of the states with the lowest AR vote R.

Still, abortion had a lot of hate even back then, so there is certainly R's getting abortions right now at a high enough rate to matter. I'm sure the rich ones are doing it in secret, though.

As of 2019 it's still pretty clear. States with the lowest rates were WY, MO, SD, KY, ID, AR, SC, MS...

However somewhat to your point GA, FL and NC were amongst top 10 for highest rates.

This is what you paved the way for, Federalist fucks. Enjoy, kavanaugh

They'll rule that guns are in the Constitution and abortion isn't. Simple as that. When precedence no longer matters they can do or rule anything they want. Or as this response correctly pointed out.

I mean, I get this. But... If you think that the SCOTUS is bound by its own logic and is unable to issue two completely conflicting opinions bathed in their own hypocrisy, you just haven't been paying attention.

This is 100% the response from the defenders of this atrocious texas law (and those that are against abortion in general). They insist it was a manufactured right (ignoring all the other "manufactured" rights that they enjoy daily).

Actually I think the Court will allow the California Law if it ends up there. They acknowledged this was a likely outcome to the Texas Law and warned about it if you remember early questioning.
