I expect to see businesses leaving Texas very soon after this ruling. Large corporations are not going to want to deal with 1/2 the population shut off from basic medical care. If Hollywood is doing anything in Texas they will be gone soon. I am very happy to be a Minnesotan right now. I can't imagine what folks are going to be dealing with down there when the conceal carry nutjobs start bounty hunting at medical care facilities.

We're boned unless the constituents of Manchin and Sinema make it clear they want to filibuster gone. It's possible that could happen with Sinema -- the Californians and newly minted DevOps engineers pouring into the state are solid blue. But Manchin? Not a chance.

I'm starting to think we might have to back away from ending the filibuster, at least in public, because the Nazis have 100% unity and we still have these blue dog stragglers.

OTOH, for the middling future (say 12 years) we almost clear of blue dogs. If we primary Sinema down the road that should give us a dependable Dem. WV will never give us a legit blue seat obviously so we need to pick up someplace else (ME, WI, PA, NCx2). More likely we have to pick up 3 others because OH and MT are likely lost in the long run. Assuming we can turn the GA state leg (22-34, 76-103) so they can't Jim Crow our 2 Senators.

Obvious target: TX (see comment above about AZ influx). But of course that would end the fight.
