It is pretty much standard operating procedure for polygraphs to be limited to just a couple questions, but it is also true that an extensive interview is done preceeding the test where all the pertinent facts and timelines are laid out. The polygraph then asks if the aforementioned interview/testimony was 100% truethful, if anything said was not true, if there is anything uncertain.
This is much more reliable than trying to scrutinize each line of testimony.

This is typically the accepted practice for accurate results.

In theory could the Dems use her? They shouldn't cause there is no point but wouldn't that be within their rights?

Grassley is going to do whatever he can to stall out the Dems when they question him just like before.

Sure, they could have farmed it out. The better way to go though is for them all to defer time to Amy and Kamala. Which won't happen but they should.

I get that, but the "hasn't he asked for an investigation" statement in light of his denials does not jive. He denies it happened and then asked for it to be investigated? Isn't him asking for an investigation saying there's something there and his denial is bogus?

I guarantee the staffs of Collins and Murkowski are telling them how awful the vote will look now.

If Collins confirms him it will be two years of ads against her refuting any claim she has of protecting women's rights.

Politically speaking those that are on the fence are better off asking for now time.

Maybe to you but not to me.

If he asked for an investigation I would be more on the fence about who is telling the truth.
