With respect to the number of questions on the polygraph -
It is pretty much standard operating procedure for polygraphs to be limited to just a couple questions, but it is also true that an extensive interview is done preceeding the test where all the pertinent facts and timelines are laid out. The polygraph then asks if the aforementioned interview/testimony was 100% truethful, if anything said was not true, if there is anything uncertain.
This is much more reliable than trying to scrutinize each line of testimony.
This is typically the accepted practice for accurate results.
