Scores and Highlights 09-10

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

If two goals in the first 5:37 of the first period weren't enough, how about three in the first 6:06 of the second period?

Erin Cody gave Bemidji a 2-1 lead at 2:49 of the second period, but UMD came back with goals 17 seconds apart -- at 5:49 by Laura Fridfinnson and at 6:06 by Jessica Wong -- to give the the Bulldogs a 3-2 lead.

EDIT: BSU got a penalty shot on an infraction by Jaime Rasmussen at 11:13, but Erin Cody couldn't convert. Still 3-2 UMD.

EDIT #2: It looks like it will be all about the early-in-the-period scoring today. It remains 3-2 after two periods.

Hey Crazy Dvae - sounds like you're at the game. Why is UMD giving up so many shots? Is Bemidji dominating? Hard to tell from Livestats. Of course, it won't matter in 10 minutes, 'cause I'll be out the door! Hooray Friday!

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Mercyhurst's Jess Jones scores shorthanded to give the Lakers a 3-0 lead, mid second period. This shorty ties the Lakers for the NCAA single season shorthanded goal record.

The mark is 19, first set by the '04-'05 Golden Gophers.

End of two, Lakers lead 4-0

Final, Lakers win 8-0

You know, Wayne St. skated hard today in the 3rd period. I was impressed. Goaltending wasn't so hot but really, they didn't give up.

Great atmosphere here today as the men play on CBS College tonight against Army.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Clarkson 1 Dartmoth 1 after 1
Clarkson is dominating but needs to finish. Tech is outshooting Dartmoth 12 to 6.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Dartmoth up 2 to 1 half way through the second. Both of Dartmoth's goals were powerplays.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

PC 2 UVM 1 after 2 periods. UVM 5 power plays, PC 1 power play. UVM will start the 3rd period on a power play.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

WHOOOOOHOOO.....(Sorry gotice and RStarr). But assuming Cornell takes care of business against Union, I can now root for you against Harvard tomorrow. I was feeling a little dirty rooting for Harvard anyway.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Dartmoth beats Clarkson 4 to 1. Shots Datrmoth 21 Clarkson 24
SN Dartmoth defenseman had a great game. Clarkson can not seem to buy a goal.

Scores and Highlights 09-10

Great win by Dartmouth! It's a long way up to the north country-Potsdam/Canton by bus. Had to have the fire in their belly methinks. It could be Coach Hudak may finally have his team back (from injury, etc., see Big Green thread ...)

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

OT for the Huskies-Huskies matchup. NU's inability to score lately is really putting a damper on things :(

Another tie in the books...shootout coming.
