Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

End of 1st: BC 1, UVM 0

I know I'm a Vermont homer, but UVM absolutely dominated the 1st period, at least until they started a parade to the penalty box. The shots were 11-2 until BC went on a 5 on 3 PP, but to their credit, they made the most of it and grabbed the lead. They'll still be on a PP to start the 2nd......

why does OSU keep promoting that shirt with the weed leaf on it? odd. I blame Barto.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

BC 3 Vermont 2 after two. closer period as shots were 10 to 10. penalties continue to be a big factor. Third period to be decided by which team can stay out of the penalty box.

End of 2nd: BC 3, UVM 2

BC went up 2-0 early 2nd with another PP tally, but UVM answered with a goal only about 10 seconds into their first "Man-advantage" of the period. THey tied it just 25 seconds later on a breakaway. BC then struck for their 3rd PP goal of the game.

Special teams definitely will be deciding this one, it seems!

It looked like the Cats might have tied it at one point, but after a loooong look at the video by the ref, it was ultimately waived off.

I DO like that Hockey East has implemented this, though. If there ever is an obvious missed goal, it's only fair to catch it after the fact. I've yet to see any calls overturned, though. (Although at UVM, at least, it's one camera high up in the middle of the rink, so it isn't exactly giving the refs alot to work with as far as quality angles. Not sure about other venues......).

Anybody else having problems with the gametracker on the Friars website?
