I'm not familiar with the cheer. What is it?Just as a spark of curiosity, does this cheer have something to do with some of us wanting Al to announce "even strength"?
And yea, from the stage, I had to yell "Bye bedwetters!"

What's interesting is that this announcement is not usually made throughout most of the hockey world.
All of this hullabaloo about that?Al: "[insert team] returns to full strength."
Crowd: "That's debatable!"
Hence why we'd like to try to push for "even strength" to be announced.
Is anyone from the Albany area headed to Cornell on Saturday? I have a car, am willing to drive, and have some place to stay that night. Just like for someone to split gas money with.
If you are, respond here, or leave me a rep, and we could exchange e-mails.
Let me preface this by saying that I fully expect us to win tomorrow night.

Arguing about "that's debatable". Monty Python would be proud.
No they wouldn't!![]()
I understand what they are trying to imply with their cheer, and that doesn't make it any better. When the initial reaction to a cheer is "W.T.F? That's stupid...", maybe it's time to rethink it. Heckling other fans may make the heckler look like an a**hole, but using stupid chants makes everyone look like an a**hole.

However, If the bye question is settled against us on Friday, I hope York is rested on Saturday. I think we'll be fine with Merriam in there but don't see the upside in risking York's ankle to finish 5th instead of 6th. I know this means we could face Union before Albany but... you never know what could happen to the 5th seed against Clarkson - especially if that seed is SLU.

Apparently Chase Polacek hasn't been a "go to guy" !? Amazing.
FD, do you have an extra ticket for Lynah? I had a friend at Cornell try to grab me a ticket, but they sold out by the time he got to the window. eLynah's ticket request forum is already inundated and the HFH is out of their allotment.I'll be at both games, but am going from Syracuse. There's a Winter Storm Warning expiring at 1PM around here for Friday, so if anyone is going to the Colgate game, be careful when you drive out. The trip for the Cornell game shouldn't be TOO bad, though, but do be careful along I-81, because it can get ot be a little crummy of a drive.

I am currently without a ticket.I do not; I got my ticket through an alumni event.Do you not have one, or just one of your friends?

I'd say at this point you're SOL. And as much as I can have a friend get a ticket via an e-mail list for you, I would not subject you to unfavorable territory.
I actually want to go to the game on Saturday because I've never been to Lynah, and I want to see what all the fuss is about (I mean, really, how great could a crappy 53-year old barn be?I'd say at this point you're SOL.
