Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

The Colts radio broadcast just reported JL is out with an upper body injury suffered during the Colts game against Kemptville last Wednesday. Carr was also injured in that game and is out with a lower body injury.

That is actually good to hear, as opposed to another mysterious vacation.

Perhaps they good cut the two of them each in half and get one good play out of them. :D

Hopefully upper body does not include the head;) Glad this is not a knee for sure. This has been a rather mysterious stretch for Laliberte to say the least.

A few USHL teams have more http://www.ushl.com/ncaa/. It is quite an accomplishment for a Canadian team since most, if not all, have players with CHL experience.

I was lied to! :p Should've known it was shameless promotion by the Vees Front Office...:D

"...Ryan and Jake bring the Vees NCAA commitments to an amazing 14 players (15 including Steven Iacobellis who is affiliated with the Vancouver NW Giants) – the highest number of any team in North America. .."

I saw that and ignored it. :) To be honest, it is a more impressive figure due to the presence of Tier-I rejects on Tier-II Canadian teams.

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

Who knows...it could be the thumb on his bottom hand, which not only is vulnerable to checks, but gets a lot of pressure when stick handling and shooting...just a WAG though. Perhaps MacInnis is still PO'd at him?

It could be that he is ****ed, but they don't seem to be winning without him.

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

I would think the Colts would be trying to get him back in the lineup asap. Especially after losing every game he's missed and falling farther behind Brockville in the standings. Cornwall should be a lock for the playoffs anyway, so getting JL back to 100% is probably the most important thing.

Not risking further injury is more important to JL and to carry that one step further, to RPI.
Lets get him to Troy before someone ruins him.
