I don't know how much playing time he had, but I'm sure it's just a little blip.

BTW, is this the time we would know for sure if these 2010 players will be at RPI or not? Or should we expect this within the next couple months or so?

We may not know until the summer or even until classes begin in some cases. RPI will eventually release an official announcement about the recruits, but it recently has not come at a specific time. We also have gotten players after the announcement, e.g. Rabbani two years ago. I am not expecting anything until after the season is over, but anything is possible.

OK. I remember hearing about the commitment of Pirri and D'Amigo in February, but wasn't sure if there was much rhyme or reason to it. I know that sometimes you get walk-ons (like Harkenrider, or CCT's Leggio), but rare. Didn't know for sure, hence me asking.

Last year's announcement was on May 6 http://www.rpiathletics.com/news/2009/5/6/MHOCK_0506094735.aspx?path=hockey. I don't recall anything official before then, and there is nothing on the official website with an earlier date. There were newspaper articles earlier, as there have been this year.

But there was a big development in the third period. Jacob Laliberte, Cornwall's leading scorer and captain, didn't come out for the frame, suffering from that bruised thumb that saw him miss two games a week ago.

Once he is fully recovered I am sure he will resume his scoring pace. This kid is just too talented offensively to be shut down for a long stretch. Just hope this thumb does not become a nagging injury for him this year.

I hope its not too serious.. the thumb is pretty exposed to contact and stick checks, glove or no.
