Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

I hope its not too serious.. the thumb is pretty exposed to contact and stick checks, glove or no.

And it really is the most important digit for it is involved in virtually every move of the fingers. A simple sprain can be a 6 week ordeal if it is severe enough. I recall assisting on a tendon operation on a golfer's thumb and he was out of commission for 6 months. I am not a hand surgeon but have a friend who is-he recommends rehab for far longer periods of time than I ever considered. Here's hoping JL is back 100% very soon.

The good part about it, I suppose, is that an injury can remind him how important an education can be.

Uncommitted and unrumored RPI defensive target (it's all in Wicked's head :p ) Austin Coldwell scored a PPG in Des Moines 5-3 win over the Chicago Steel. Coldwell's line is now: 28-8-9-17-37

I will eat my hat if he is really a target.

Good thing that I don't own a hat. :D

He is going to fit right in at RPI-I love the feistiness.
as long as 'feistiness' doesn't translate into blatantly stupid penalties that give 5on3's or give pp's with 2 minutes to go, because we already have enough players that do that.

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

One of Luke's teammates had a 2-5-7 line in the game including scoring on a penalty shot. It's impressive to participate in 7 of 7 goals.

And he has been recruited by...? I cannot imagine this has gone unnoticed.
