Re: RPI Pros V

One has to think it is only a matter of time before he sees some serious NHL time.

Until he finds a team that will let him be their primary goalie, I don't see him getting a chance to play in the NHL again. JMO
Goalie has to be the toughest position to make that jump to the NHL.

EHF-It is certainly tough since each team carries only 2-3 goalies and has far more forwards and defensemen. But, goalies can still get a chance to break in at a much older age than other position players and still be playing at a more advanced age. If he is patient and keeps working at his game, he has all the tools to be an NHL level player.

Re: RPI Pros V

For what very scant consolation it may be, if the AHL used the same three-shooter format for the shootout as the NHL does, Yorkie would have gotten himself a win today.

Yeah. Still agood showing for his 1st game of the year though....2-1 loss in a SO. Named #2 Star. Charlotte also signed Rick DiPietro to a PTO today....sheesh.

Re: RPI Pros V

He was on the ice with Kane for both assists, yet he played five minutes less than Kane. He seems to be making an argument for playing regularly on Kane's line.
BP centered the 2nd line with Saad & Kane. With Kane on 1st PP (BP on 2nd) and several 4x4's (no BP) that would be the reason for the difference in TOI.

I seem to recall hearing Bowman say that in the off-season -- as to where he was hoping BP would mesh in.
