His goal was on the power play. My first thought was how did he get on the power play with the forwards on the Blackhawks? I think they might have big plans for BP, and he certainly isn't hurting his chances.

Perhaps he plays PP with Rockford? And if this is essentially his PTO for the Blackhawks, why not put him in the situations where he excels? I remember during Peter Merth's PTOs with WBS, he would play the PK because he's strong there.

after the game the Blackhawks sent C Joachim Nordstrom to Rockford. Obviously they can just as easily recall him but It sounds like they will be giving BP every chance to stick.

I'm watching the Encore showing of last nights' Blackhawks game (BP just scored :)) and I'm reminded of what I was thinking @ last nights' RPI game. I thought I would hear something over the PA about BP's 1st NHL goal but never did. Did I miss it or was it never acknowledged.
