Re: RPI Pros V

Decided to take advantage of being out here in the Bay Area - going to see the San Francisco Bulls game tonight because the Bakersfield Condors are in town! The team doesn't just have two RPI alums, there are also several alums from other schools. One Harvard player and a few from Clarkson, including Paul Karpowich as the backup goalie.
....any word on why Eric B. didn't play?

There were eight scratches and this was the first game of the preseason. I'm guessing the Condors coach knows what to expect from Eric and wanted to see what the rookies could do.

Greg took a two minute slashing penalty with 1:13 left in the second. He didn't figure into any of the scoring but looked good out there.

Appert's Twitter saying that Pirri's playing in the big one tonight. If someone sees him on the ice, we can tack on another year.

Re: RPI Pros V

A look at where some of the boys are playing in the ECHL and who'll be their teammates. ICYMI; Burgdoerfers are in Bakersfield....CJ Lee is in Gwinnett....Justin Smith is Wheeling and Allen York is in Evansville....... http://www.echl.com/echl-announces-season-opening-rosters-p187864

Yorkie got signed? Woooo! He's still kind of technically in the CBJ organization, which sucks, but I doubt his contract allows that much upward mobility.

I should've added for those who might wonder, Bryce Merriam who played a few games for Orlando at the end of last season, has decided to not pursue a professional hockey career. That was told to me by SA a few weeks ago.
