Re: RPI Pros V

hope his 2nd go-around in KHL is better. BTW, he was making some pretty big Cha-Ching in SEL.

Many of those who follow hockey just do not realize that players can cash in quite well over in Europe. There are of course other concerns and reasons to go over there, but these leagues pay some serious moolah and benefits. I know for sure that Brad Tapper certainly enjoyed his years in the German Elite league and it helped ease his way into coaching without looking back.

Had to be better cha-ching to draw him from the good life in the land of chocolate and blondes to the land borscht (though the Croatians must have better cuisine than Siberians). :D

Wicked-not all those Russian women look like the Press sisters of years ago (Tamara and Irina were not exactly Ford modeling agency material). And i think i would trade most of that chocolate for a good bottle of Stoli!;)

Oi vey - Russian women !! I can guarantee that the ones I know here in NYC weren't plowing fields behind some ox. A colleague of mine did a 5 year rotation between Moscow and St. Petersberg, and he cant loves coming to Manhattan to hang out and meet some of the devushka. I think Russia (or eastern Europe in general) is a really strong move.... Anyone in on a road trip for a game ??

Salary Cap space could be a factor in JD'A's chance to make the Maple Leafs roster............ Depending on the amount of available cap space left, the Leafs may not be able to have players like Carter Ashton, Jerry D’Amigo or Tyler Biggs make the club, since the NHL portion of their two-way deal is over $1 Million. http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Mike...ility-With-Cap-Squeeze/120/53181#.Uf53iuD_Tao

That is really interesting. I guess that means that they have to go into next season with an inferior line up.
On another front, does anyone know it York is still under contract with the Blue Jackets?
