Re: RPI Pros V

Any thoughts on D'Amigo moving to Edmonton, now that his coach has moved there?
I would think Edm. will be looking to add seasoned vets to sprinkle into their lineup that's LOADED with young players. Who knows what might happen with the next coach of the Marlies though. Eakins has had very high praises for Jerry. Komarov & Grabvoski may be going back to the KHL...do the Leafs keep 2 enforcers (Orr & Fraser)....do they sign UFA Bozak (center)....what UFA's do the Leafs possibly sign. Lot of unanswered questions. It would also have to be a trade as Jerry has 1 more year left on his 3 yr. ELC.

Why does he have one year left? He has been in the AHL for three years, not counting the partial year in Kitchener.

Re: RPI Pros V

With Chicago winning the Stanley Cup, Brandon Pirri will be receiving a fancy ring in a few months.

Re: RPI Pros V

terrific oppurtunity for Brandon Pirri to secure a spot with Chicago next year now that they've just traded Dave Bolland.

Re: RPI Pros V

-- The Blue Jackets' goaltending depth chart has been reconfigured today. Bobrovsky and McElhinney appear the clear No. 1-2. The Blue Jackets will look for a veteran guy on a two-way deal to be the No. 3 and play in Springfield. The Jackets have yet to determine their plans with G Allen York, a restricted free agent. Forsberg, Oscar Dansk and Joonis Korpisalo would be considered prospects at this stage of the game. So, if York walks, maybe the Jackets need to sign a No. 3 and a No. 4 for Springfield. http://bluejacketsxtra.dispatch.com/content/blogs/puck-rakers/2013/05/jackets-sign-mcelhinney.html

Re: RPI Pros V

well, that's twice BP's name has been mentioned during today's Draft. First by Bob MacKenzie after the Bolland deal was announced and now by Craig Button as Chicago just traded Michael Frolick.

Re: RPI Pros V

Looks like Allen York's time with CBJ's is up. CBJ's signed Jeremy Smith (Milwaukee AHL) & Mike McKenna (Peoria AHL & SLU grad)....... The Goalie Guild ‏@TheGoalieGuild 8h
@msimmy94 Dainton, York, and Killeen are out. Springfield signed Mike Clemente, so the top-4 (for now) is Bob, McElhinney, Smith, Clemente (Brown). ......To add to that, Mike McKenna was signed by CBJ right after this Tweet meaning Clemente might also be out.

Re: RPI Pros V

hope his 2nd go-around in KHL is better. BTW, he was making some pretty big Cha-Ching in SEL.
Had to be better cha-ching to draw him from the good life in the land of chocolate and blondes to the land borscht (though the Croatians must have better cuisine than Siberians). :D
