This weeks Hockey News "Future Watch" issue has mention of Pirri -with an unnamed (I think) 'Hawks official saying he has big league talent and skill and is "NHL ready"... and would probably be in the bigs right now, if he was on another team. CHI is just deep in talent now.

York was at the HFH last night for the game, while the Falcons were in Providence. Not sure how banged up he is, but he looked ok at quick glance (nothing obvious).

NHL trade deadline coming up so naturally, trade rumors start to surface....could BP be reunited with JD'A.... What would the Hawks give up? Well, Dan Carcillo’s 3 shifts Wednesday night in Anaheim should tell you all you need to know about his potential availability. Pirri being traded would greatly increase the chances of continuing the streak of at least one RPI alum playing in the NHL.

Our Great Coach on his twiiter feed said that Bailen is going to be making his AHL debut. I'm guessing Rochester, Buffalo's affliate. Wonder if they put him on the wing instead of DMan. Like Nick's game but I think his size will dicatate that he moves to a wing in pro game.

figured he was just waiting till we were officially eliminated from the Dance. There are actually quite a few D-men in the NHL today the same size as Nicky; Mike Weaver (Fla.)...Jarred Spurgeon (Minn.)....Tobias Enstrom (Winnpg) just to name a few (there are more).
