Know I'm late. (Took a friend to Social Security) 1st period was 0-0 so just give me 2/3 of all the points I win for Friday.:D;)

Not quite. I took your Saturday pick because it's early in the season, but I couldn't take the Friday.

<hr>

Congratulations to new overall leaders Ralph Baer and RPI fan 4 life, who put their bonus point to good use extending their lead. I got a bonus point too (rigged!), but who cares about me.

In Friday's tie, RPI was led by soon-to-be-banned Evan Tironese (1-1–2; engineerhockeyfan, Ralph Baer) and Jared Wilson (0-1–1; no one), though Tironese had a better night on Saturday. Game-tying goal scorer Johnny Curran (2-0–2; no one) and defenseman Tyler Hayes (0-2–2; no one) led the Purple Eagles.
RPI broke through on Saturday, earning their first win and a pile of goals. Evan Tironese (1-4–5; RPI fan 4 life) led the charge, though he was closely followed by Riley Bourbonnais (2-1–3; FlagDUDE08, Ralph Baer, lugnut92). Have fun never picking either of them ever again, because shop's closed. The other R school had six players each earn 2 PtC points, including Gabe Valenzuela (1-0–1; MavHockey14) and Chase Norrish (0-1–1; RPI fan 4 life).

And we arrive at the first Hate Union Week of the season (and also the first league weekend, but who cares about that). RPI takes on Union at home on Friday, then will pack on a bus and try not to get stabbed in Schenectady on Saturday night.

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday.

You may NOT choose the following players for this game:
RPI: Evan Tironese and Riley Bourbonnais
Union: Mike Vecchione, Sebastian Vidmar, and Jeff Taylor

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2016-17

Ralph Baer and FlagDUDE08 each return to the winners' circle for the second time this week as Ralph jumps out to the lead.

Whether it was off a high stick or not (Who knew you could challenge that?), RPI's lone goal on Friday, scored by Jared Wilson (FlagDUDE08, Ralph Baer), led the way for the Men in Black. On the other side, a basket of ineligibles (Is two enough for a basket? Is this stretching too far for wordplay?) led the scoring for Union with 3 PtC points: Jeff Taylor (1-0–1) and Mike Vecchione (1-1–2). Just behind them were five skaters, including Spencer Foo (0-2–2; lugnut92, engineerhockeyfan, Ralph Baer) and Nick DeSimone (0-1–1; vizoroo), and goalie Alex Sakellaropoulos (QS; FlagDUDE08), all worth two PtC points.
Saturday would have been an improvement for the Engineers if Riley Bourbonnais weren't ineligible. But he is. How sad for all of us. Coming in honorable mention for RPI were defensemen Mike Prapavessis (no one) and Will Reilly (no one) with an assist a piece. Union was once again led by the basket, but they were joined by four more skaters (and the goalie) for the lead with 2 points. Nick DeSimone (0-1–1; lugnut92, engineerhockeyfan) and Alex seriously I'm not spelling this again (QS; vizoroo) were the only members of that group to be picked to click.

Link back to the first post with details on scoring

RPI is back in action at home this weekend hosting the Southern New England Ivies, as they take on Brown and Yale. We haven't seen much of the Ivy League teams yet, so who knows what they're capable of! They're probably capable of beating us because we're bad. Well, maybe not Brown, since they haven't scored a goal yet. Uncertainty!

Picks must be in by 7:00 ET on Friday.

You may NOT choose the following players for this game:
RPI: Evan Tironese and Riley Bourbonnais
Brown: none
Yale: none

Statistics and Rosters
RPI: 16-17 Statistics | Roster
Brown: 16-17 Statistics | 15-16 Statistics | Roster
Yale: 16-17 Statistics | 15-16 Statistics | Roster (Beware H. / T. Hart, E. / M. Smith confusion)
