RPI Pick to Click 2016-17

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2016-17

Who has two thumbs and just realized he never finished this? Final scores to be posted by the weekend.

Re: RPI Pick to Click 2016-17

I finally finished this! I sincerely apologize for failing to wrap this up over the summer, especially after promising to finish it by the "end of the weekend" multiple times. I guess I could claim that I was treating the off-season as a looooong weekend but really it just came down to a nice mix of laziness and forgetfulness. When I actually decided to sit down and do it, it took all of 15 minutes, so I really had no excuse. I will be running the game again this season with a few modifications I thought of in the last 24 hours to nerf goalies (or at least to limit their effect). Again, thank you all so much for your patience and I hope you will choose to participate again this season.
<hr>Congratulations to FlagDUDE08 and Ralph Baer on the weekly win, and to FlagDUDE08 for being our 2016-17 Pick To Click champion!

Okay, so "last" weekend didn't go so hot for our Engineers, as the season came to an abrupt end against those jerks in Potsdam. Hopefully Coach <strike>Appert</strike>Smith can learn from these mistakes and improve next year.
Friday night was the night of the ineligible skaters, with the six off-limits players combining for 21 points. As far as those players that were actually available, Viktor Liljegren (hawthr, Ralph Baer, FlagDUDE08) and Sheldon Rempal (no one) each potted a pair of goals for their respective teams. Mike Prapavessis (no one) also contributed 4 PtC points with a pair of assists.
Saturday was a bit lower scoring (and less embarrassing for us), as Will Reilly (hawthr, FlagDUDE08) led the (eligible) Engineers with a single assist. Clarkson defenseman Kelly Summers (Ralph Baer) put up two assists of his own. Both goalies earned quality starts.
