Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part II: (Insert Title Here)

Doc, I made the same comment to SA and followed it up with I hope they can play hockey.
His comeback was basically Me too.
One more comment, This year, the defense is going to be very tall, with great wing spans. I would love to see them put on a few more pounds. (all except Curadi)

The new roster http://www.rpiathletics.com/roster.aspx?roster=194&path=hockey still says he is 6'5", 200 lb. :eek;

Agreed about the wingspans...add a 6'+ stick and you can cover a lot of ground! looking forward to it!

site says they are now broadcasting but I'm getting a blank screen/no audio either.

I get an ad which I can skip after a few seconds. Then I get a picture that doesn't update. So far it's no better than B2. ;)

....If Melanson is in Russia, it isn't surprising that he hasn't gotten any points in games played in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. :D Good to know taht someone is watching over him though.
Hopefully, Milos gave Coach Graham a list of players to talk to.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part II: (Insert Title Here)

it would be nice if someone actually took the time to measure/weigh the players in a new year rather than just reprinting last years measurements.
I am sure it is something that is done very quickly upon the players' return to campus - as part of the assessment of their off season strength and conditioning program. Getting that info compiled and onto the site is another matter.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2012 Part II: (Insert Title Here)

Although the heights and weights are in some cases exaggerated, they are probably more accurate than their previous versions. For example, Bradley and Zalewski got shorter. As for Curadi, that is almost certainly just a typo that was never fixed although someone here noticed it last year.

getting the info onto the site was my point. Then again maybe they actually are the same size. A quick check from 09-10 shows the current seniors to be the same size they were as Fr. except G Burgdoerfer ;)
