glad to see we're no longer rooting for Cornell....that was going to be very diificult, akin to rooting for that team on the other end of Rt 7

Could be worse, could be rooting for a certain team to the north.

Binghamton U. has a hockey team?

Re: RPI MMXI III: Overanalyzing The Iron Men and Other Uses of Internet Bandwidth

Just when you thought you knew the PairWise, the NCAA makes a change to the definition of a TUC and throws the whole thing out of balance. In light of the changes, I decided to do a Bracketology 2.0 to discuss the differences, and how it affects the outlook.

Been completely out of touch for 10 days now-I come back a bit and now i am so confused. Thanks for the help-your explanation makes things far more clear to me. BTW-it is really good to be back and would not be here without all the effort from the best in the world-Jenny.:)

Was wondering what happened to you... didn't know if you died or something.

Expected-would have been criminal for him not to be there. Any guesses if we will place any others in this group?

I don't think so. Someone on the Cornell board mentioned Ken Hammond as a possibility.

Let me guess... skate blade across the neck right?

In all seriousness, glad you are still with us Doc. Hope you are recovering well and look forward to many more years of your enlightened and entertaining pessimism.

Bracketology Deux is up at Without a Peer. This week, we delve into the interesting intricacies of the Miami and Western Michigan comparisons and relative importance (or lack thereof) of Brown and Colorado College... not to mention the potential importance of UAH's games this weekend.

Thanks for keeping us up to date, Tom. I'm a bit of a numbers guy and I absolutely love geeking out to the PWR.

And welcome back, DrD! The score threads have been fairly quiet without your added insight =(.

Thanks guys-this was a difficult past 10 days. Not out of the woods yet but the trend is good. Honestly really missed the give and take on this board. It is somewhat therapeutic. The only good thing-I got to miss the stinker we threw in at Cornell. I read through the score thread the other night. I'm glad I was spared the pain-I certainly have had enough of that this week. When you have an episode like this-you really appreciate what you have. Glad to be back.

Nobody should have to spend time in the ICU. Glad you are back.

EHF-It is going to take a lot more than this to keep me form Baker Rink in february. ICU was miserable and there wasn't one cute nurse the entire time. I must admit though that being a doctor got me an incredible amount of attention. I am still catching up on things here on the board but appreciate all the thoughts.

Jenny sends a big thank you. I must admit no truer words have ever been said. Hoping to be able to listen to the games this weekend which now have become MUST games. These are 2 games this team needs to win-and should win at home. I just hate looking back to games this year that we should have, could have won-Union at Lake Placid, Harvard, Clarkson. We could have made things a lot easier for ourselves with those games-but we insist on doing things the hard way.
