P.S. I saw Red Cloud enter the building right before the penalty shot, that guy is money.

Absolutely true. He is without a peer.

PS - Many thanks to GRussinko for posting the penalty shot sequence. Cherry.
Enjoyed that moment in the car courtesy of werpi... glad to see it here.

HFH weekend w Dartmouth and Harvard coming to town. Time to enjoy some home cooking

As far as I can recall sitting right behind it, CP did indeed beat him to the right side, not five-hole. I commented right after that Chase had an easy shot inside the post as the goalie didn't do much to close off that side of the net.
Not to belabor this but I was sitting right behing the goaltender it went over his right pad just below his blocker.

One quick look at the PWR. We're currently out, though bubble-icious at this point. Brown's close to becoming a TUC, them winning next week should help out. The most important thing, though, is to win. Let's get another PWR point against Dartmouth to hopefully swing that comparison in our favor, and maybe this time actually beat Hahvahd.

Basically, we have to win. Splitting each weekend will send us to the middle of the league standings.

I think that we all know this. :)

Bracketology Deux is up at Without a Peer. This week, we delve into the interesting intricacies of the Miami and Western Michigan comparisons and relative importance (or lack thereof) of Brown and Colorado College... not to mention the potential importance of UAH's games this weekend.

One thing that one of the posters had told me first-hand was that if BC had beat Maine on Sunday, we would have been the last one in the tournament. Talk about the importance of games that don't involve us at all, including OOC opponents.

And now we wouldn't be. But, then we'd only be 0.0001 behind UNO in the RPI, but we'd still be sitting 16th (aka first out).

Ed Weaver is reporting that Brutlag, Halpern, and Higgs can all play this weekend http://www.troyrecord.com/articles/...4d36765fb5ac7034035952.txt?viewmode=fullstory.

That is good news. I just hope that we are not rushing Brutlag back. It will be nice to play with almost all of our offensive players on the ice.
We outplayed Harvard the first time and had no luck. If we play the same game, we should take this game easily.
That being said, we don't take any games easily.

Just when you thought you knew the PairWise, the NCAA makes a change to the definition of a TUC and throws the whole thing out of balance. In light of the changes, I decided to do a Bracketology 2.0 to discuss the differences, and how it affects the outlook.
