EHF-It is going to take a lot more than this to keep me form Baker Rink in february. ICU was miserable and there wasn't one cute nurse the entire time. I must admit though that being a doctor got me an incredible amount of attention. I am still catching up on things here on the board but appreciate all the thoughts.
Counterbalanced with saving Dr. D I guess that's a trade I make.See what Obamacare has done to this country!!!!!

I'm sure it was a factor. How else could he have survived the death panels?Think the fortitude of the patient was the prevailing factor.
I just hate looking back to games this year that we should have, could have won-Union at Lake Placid, Harvard, Clarkson. We could have made things a lot easier for ourselves with those games-but we insist on doing things the hard way.
Remember Kepler's Law as it applies to RPI?
Glad to have you back from ICU... I've heard we've had a few players on the mend as well...

Well now that we are getting everyone back-let's start kicking the tar out of the ECAC! I know we threw in a real bomb-but no one, I repeat no one, should be allowed to score 5 on this team. We may not always be able to score enough but we certainly are talented on defense and in goal. We have a weekend coming up where we not only need to play well, we have to. This is our chance to move up-Carpe Diem!!!
Thanks guys-this was a difficult past 10 days. Not out of the woods yet but the trend is good. Honestly really missed the give and take on this board. It is somewhat therapeutic. The only good thing-I got to miss the stinker we threw in at Cornell. I read through the score thread the other night. I'm glad I was spared the pain-I certainly have had enough of that this week. When you have an episode like this-you really appreciate what you have. Glad to be back.
One problem that seems to be persisting all season-we just do not start fast. We don't seem to able to take control early in the first periods of games. Either we get scored on early or we take a couple of early penalties to slow us down. This has to be part of the focus for this weekend. We are not the most potent offense in the league and we just cannot afford to let a team like Harvard hang around. Score early and get up by a couple and the world becomes very different. I am not quite ready to call the first period-the dreaded first period-but we need to come out with more energy. We are a better team when we can play to our strength-the defense. And you can do that better when you get a head early-that has been the Cornell method for many years-score enough to get a lead and then play great defense.
We're having some technical issues here in the underwater lair. Moving the start time back to 1:30.
Just me, myself, and I on today's podcast, which goes live in about 15 minutes.
Call in number is (310) 742-1841 if you want to talk about practically anything related to college hockey. We'll have a segment on Bracketology, if you've got any questions that might be the best time to call in.
