Re: RPI MMXI III: Overanalyzing The Iron Men and Other Uses of Internet Bandwidth

Has anyone heard any updates as to Higgs' laceration and how long he might be out? I know Doc weighed in, I'm just wondering aloud if anyone has heard from RPI?
I would note that Miami d-man Will Weber suffered a very similar gash (100 stitches & 15 staples)on Oct. 25th and actually returned to the lineup on Nov. 12th.

I realize that no two cases are alike, but it's at least possible that Brock could be back sooner than we think...here's hopin'.

Canada defeats the USA 4-1 in the semifinals.I seem to remember sitting in the stands @ HFH during team USA practice with my good freinds AD and RC (I belive T181 can be a witness here) commenting that the USA is a 3rd.or 4th. place team and being ridiculed, and accused of being a traitor and a commi pinko...Seems as though it was just plain astute hockey analysis.Tonite was just a plain ole Can of AS... Whoop as I expected...Peace Out Comrades

Without a Peer is pleased to introduce Engineer Bracketology.

Next week begins the first official edition - this week's prologue is an introduction to the PairWise Rankings and a look at how Engineer Bracketology will function. Watch for it on Tuesday mornings.

Thanks-I am still pretty cloudy on bracketology but you have helped me become a little less dense. Maybe now I can be classified as partly cloudy.:)

With a 30% chance of showers? :D

There are certainly a lot of permutations as to what could happen. The biggest thing now is for RPI to play with consistency and remain high in the ranks.

Garry Kearns '58 will be the newest inductee to the Ring of Honor, at the game against Cornell the afternoon of February 12th: http://rpiathletics.com/news/2011/1/4/MHOCK_0104115706.aspx.

Well deserved. I having gotten to know Garry (not in a hockey context) and he is a true gentlemen and a great member of the community. Congrats Garry!!!!!!!!!

Didnt they move the Freakout last year to Senior Night because they honored the 1985 championship team during the Clarkson game?
wasn't it the St. Lawrence game? Honoring the 85 team that is.
