Re: RPI MMXI III: Overanalyzing The Iron Men and Other Uses of Internet Bandwidth

we gotta be on our game this weekend. Especially slu beat unh last night in their barn. As well as if clark can beat umd one game.
the new score board looks amazing.

I don't see when we shouldn't be on our game. We're in league play, every game is important. Not only that, but every game is just important as the next. The big thing we should look for is if our team is consistent. We had a good out-of-conference string (8-1-3), but now it's time to keep up our consistency and win our games, and we go one at a time.

The sketch artist was on vacation. :(

If you could 'like' things, I would 'like' this.

For those looking ahead, next year's league schedule, not including games between travel partners, has been posted on eLynah http://elf.elynah.com/file.php/download/1/464/FINAL_2011-12_Men_s_Schedule_2_.txt. We start the league schedule with the NC trip.

Ralph, we aren't able to see that file link from here; you're only able to get to it via eLynah's website. Is there another location that has this information?

I made a Google doc...

Black Friday against Brown!

Also, looks like another mens-womens doubleheader for the first weekend in January.

Given the schedule it could be possible to move Dartmouth/Harvard to the next weekend (although the students would still be away because they pushed back the start of the spring semester a week).

Freakout against Colgate?

I think Freakout vs Clarkson on 1/28 sounds better :D

Amazing things are happening at RPI.-- All the beautiful up grades to the facilities -- The new top of the line scoreboard -- The amazing won loss record this far into the season-- All the ratings services showing RPI as one of the top hockey teams in the Nation -- A line up of recruits for next year that is incredible -- The only thing needed now, is acceptable TV coverage of the games. The B2 broadcasts of the last 2 games were total failures. Fans all over the country, (potential recruits too) are interested in what's going on at RPI & the quickest way to find out, is to watch them in action.

We're waiting to hear back from Athletics about this weekend.

Kevin Beattie (beattk@rpi.edu), RPI's Sports Information Director, is the probably the best person to share your opinions about Video Streaming. Feel free to CC or BCC rpitv@union.rpi.edu with your comments.

We'd love for you to send your thoughts / comments to Kevin. You might want to CC Jim Knowlton (knowlj3@rpi.edu), the Athletic Director as well.

Talk about a waste of revenue. Seeing as how both Freakout and Clarkson stand-alone are prestige priced games, they won't schedule Freakout against Clarkson (especially since last year, Freakout was put on Senior Night to avoid a Clarkson freakout).

Congrats to Seth and his young men for cracking the Top 10. Seems like the five year plan is right on schedule.

If the real thing is anything like this it is going to be awesome.

Re: RPI MMXI III: Overanalyzing The Iron Men and Other Uses of Internet Bandwidth

Congrats to Seth and his young men for cracking the Top 10. Now just waiting for FDude and B12 to dampen down the enthusiasm on the "meaningless" polls.

I hate to break it to you, but I think you beat me to it. Actually, take that back, I think mackek2 is the winner on that one. And plus, what's up with the butt-hurt? If the concensus of 50 media members is that we're a top 10 team, I'm cool with that. I think more importantly is that we're somewhat high on the PWR and KRACH. Although it isn't concrete yet, should we be able to keep playing with this consistency, we should see ourselves at least on the bubble to the tournament (at-large).

Re: RPI MMXI III: Overanalyzing The Iron Men and Other Uses of Internet Bandwidth

Question??? Ralph will most likely know but when is the last time we cracked the top 10? In advance, thanks.

You are quick on the post my friend. I edited that part out because I have made my new years resolution and it was to be nice in the new year. Falling back in my old ways already. What I meant to say is "FDude and B12 will astutely point out that it is too early to get expectations too high". Kinder and gentlier aspydad.
