Re: RPI Hockey 2012-2013 Part 1: Pocket Protectors and Hockey Sticks

My tickets to this weekend's games which I ordered on 10/1 still haven't showed up. I called the ticket office, and they said "no problem". (From past experience the mailman probably put it in the wrong mailbox, and the person who got them, instead of just sliding them under my door, returned them and they went back to the post office.) I may have to remain at the tailgate until the game is over. :D
Don't they give you the option to pick up your tix at "Will Call"?

Interesting. Last year I had four weeks before the game and they tried to convince me to go to will call. This year, I only had 10 days, which really should still be more than enough, but they told me not to worry. Anyway, they found me on their computern yesterday, and said I could pick up duplicates. If that doesn't work, I think about a half dozen people have posted already that they have extras.

BTW, greetings from DCA where I still have a bit more than two hours until my flight.

I am not delayed (yet) -- I just got here early. If I go to BWI, I might as well drive all the way. :p

It's raining here, so I'd expect we see that there by the time we're all out in that area.

For the rest of my days on this earth, whenever I hear the name Josh Rabbani I will recall him decleating the NoDak kid in the NCAAs. Wow.

Eddy needs to get his facts straight........the last time RPI won 20 regular season games.......1985?????? C'mon Ed, put the bottle away when you write your articles!:D
I think it was, " the last time SINCE 1985".....but it's always a mystery in deciphering his articles.

The NoDak kid, Brock Nelson, will be playing for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers this year.

Did Kasdorf get any time in the exhibition?

Kazzy played the 2nd period & stopped 9 of 9. He wasn't nearly as tested as say Diebold was but he was in terrific position to smother shots. He's a very big goalie & moved well when going side to side.
