Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

TSN lists this kid as a '94, needs to fill into his frame and work on his skating a bit. Has the ability to excel at the next level.

They list this kid as one of the top 1995 prospects in all USA hockey. Boat load of potential, speed, quick hands, great shot and a physical edge to his game. A top ranked national five star player.

USHR lists both kids as freshman. Hayden (2/14/95) is listed at 6' 177lbs and has a line of 14-14-28 so far this year. Duane(1/16/94) is listed at 6'4" 208lbs with a line of 8-9-17.

6'4" 208 lb at 16 years old.

Too bad that Saturday's performance was poor, but at least the BRF! should have impressed them, no matter what Chris Lerch might think.

I think both of those figures are a bit exaggerated based on what I saw of him at HFH, but he is definitely over 6'0 and probably close to 200 lbs.

I can honestly say it was the liveliest BRF in quite some time...good effort at getting the bodies into HFH and the band's swollen ranks sounded great...great job bandies ! Now you need to keep it up for the stretch run....I'd better not hear that they aren't travelling this weekend, this will not please me ! :p

Hmmm. Hayden sounds a lot like another prominent US forward now playing at RPI...Monty was in early on him too !...:D

They are definitely traveling this weekend. I have confirmed that with the band leaders.

Thanks. I know that Eric and Greg have a younger brother who is a goalie. He doesn't look like them however.

I KNOW I've seen that kid before -- I wanna say he was at the Niagara game...stay tuned, I'm running a scan of my memory banks. :p

Additionally, while the current band is in CNY, I am putting together a group of alums to get to Saturday/Sunday women's playoffs at QPac.

Re: RPI 2010 Recruiting III: Monty's Quest for the Holy Grail

On Sunday, the Penticton Vees defeated the Trail Smoke Eaters 7-3. Luke Curadi had no points or penalties. This ends Penticton's regular season. http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_boxScores.cfm?clientID=1413&leagueID=2393&gameID=713009

Curadi's line is now 58-7-10-17-98.

Congrats to Luke and the Vees -- they are first Penticton team to ever record 100 points in a season. Well done!

The Vees open their 1st round playoff series with the Merritt Centennials. The Vees host games 1 & 2 on Friday and Saturday before heading to Merritt for 3 & 4

If you want to do a real service, you will find Kingston's and Burlington's next games. :p

I noticed Andrew Calof is back listed going to Harvard on CH's list. He was listed going to Princeton last week, so im not sure if him committing to Princeton was just a rumor, if he's still available for someone else to pick up or if Harvard decided to admit him after all.
