Re: RPI 2010 Off-Season Thread II -- We Can Rebuild Them. We Have the Technology!

I was at the Russell Sage commencement today at HFH and saw a few players walking in front of the field house. Halpern, Polacek, and Brutlag I saw and then I saw JFK on crutches with his right leg wrapped. It did not appear to be a cast but it was wrapped. I'm sure he will be fine by October, but I thought I would pass this news along.

Unfortunately, it's a rout for Middlebury. Currently 13-5.

hope some lax recruits were there it had a big time feel. RPI's attack were more than good but Middlebury's attackmen were top notch. The engineers needed to win everyface off to have a chance win that game.

GREAT fan support, band was there, very good game against a very good team.

sorry for being off topic again but...................

This gives me an opportune time to say:

F-ck Middlebury.

No first hand knowledge but he most likely hurt it while they were doing their conditioning stuff. Heard SA was working them hard on conditioning because he was looking to eliminate late game issues we had last season.

I was thinking that in my head at the game yesterday. Middlebury basically went after RPI's top attacker and put him out of the game in the first 5 minutes with a sandwich move that somehow went uncalled. RPIHFH and I got the opportunity to lob a couple of bombs at a couple odd Middlebury supporters, loudly bantering back and forth about how it's not surprising that Middlebury would resort to such tactics. Got some vile stares, made it worthwhile.

But congradulations to them, you know.

Credit to M'bury for their midfield - they were too fast for RPI...they were able to advance the ball pretty easily putting pressure/mismatches on our D. Hats off to the Engineers for a great season..they've come a long way in few seasons.

Top school that you pay an obnoxious amount of money to go to and live in the middle of nowhere Vermont for and you can't spell "congratulations" correctly and try to pass it off as a way to honor your seniors. HA!

Would be interested to know what type of ankle surgery was performed. There are a myriad of ankle procedures with some being extremely minor with little down time for recovery, and others which can indeed take many months to heal.

It wouldn't be the first time that the schedule given to season ticket holders was wrong.

Well, you're in luck, because it lists the Black Friday game as the 9th annual, when there have only been seven to date. There you go.
